If you're in the UK, the international version of your phone number starts +44... then 10 digits (your number's usually 11 digits, but you drop the first 0 for the international version).

Now imagine this: Elon Musk has $500,000,000,000

Write down your number (in international format) but instead of a + sign at the front, use a $ sign.

It'll look like $447,000,000,000. Kinda.

Point is, Elon's got about $50,000,000,000 more than that.

He could literally give you your phone number in cash, and still have at least 50 billion left.

Yup.

Another way to think of it: forget the international format.

Take your normal mobile number and flip the first 0 for a $ sign.

That’ll look something like $7000 000 000

Or, written properly, $7,000,000,000.

Just seven billion.

Elon could gift you that, and it wouldn’t even make a dent. He’d still be sitting on $493 billion.

Wild.
